A clear path from pain story to treatment plan.

The goal is not to sell every patient a procedure. The goal is to understand the source of pain, explain realistic options, and decide whether PRP or bone-marrow-derived cell treatment is worth considering after evaluation.

How the care path works

  1. Consultation: We start with your pain story: where it hurts, what started it, what has helped, what has failed, and what you want to get back to doing.
  2. Exam and records review: Relevant imaging, prior treatment records, exam findings, and function goals help identify whether the painful tissue is a reasonable target.
  3. Candidacy discussion: If an orthobiologic option may fit, Dr. Bruce Grossinger explains the reasoning, limits, alternatives, and expected recovery timeline.
  4. Procedure and follow-up: When treatment moves forward, the plan includes preparation guidance, the procedure visit, activity instructions, and reassessment over time.

Appointments are built around evaluation, education, procedure planning when appropriate, and follow-up.

PRP treatment

Platelet-rich plasma uses your own blood components.

PRP starts with a blood draw. The sample is processed to concentrate platelets, which contain growth factors involved in the body’s natural healing response. In selected tendon, ligament, soft-tissue, or joint conditions, PRP may help support recovery and reduce symptoms as part of a broader treatment plan.

PRP is not magic, and results vary. The right question is whether the diagnosis, tissue quality, severity, and goals make PRP a reasonable option after medical evaluation.

Stem cell and cellular procedures

Cell-based orthobiologic care is discussed case by case.

Some patients ask about bone-marrow-derived cell procedures because they want a non-surgical option for joint, tendon, or spine-related pain. These treatments are evaluated carefully and are not presented as a promise of tissue restoration, an assured result, or a replacement for a complete diagnosis.

Federal guidance warns patients to be cautious about unapproved regenerative medicine claims. That is why the conversation should be specific, transparent, and grounded in what is appropriate for the individual patient.

Important to know

Every treatment decision starts with candidacy.

Outcomes vary, not every patient is a candidate, and a consultation is required before any recommendation. New weakness, severe trauma, fever, loss of bowel or bladder control, chest pain, or other urgent symptoms should be evaluated through urgent or emergency medical care.
